Messaging and Queuing

When designing applications on AWS, you can take a Microservices Approach (loosely coupled) with services and components that fulfill different functions.

Two services that facilitate application integration are:

1. Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS)
2. Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS)
